While the onsen is a highlight of the stay, the amenities in the room are outdated, including an old fridge, no hot water thermos.

Spent the Christmas holidays in a cozy hotel near ski rental shops and the cable car, which made the location perfect for my ski trip. Plus, the hotel had both indoor and outdoor onsens that were a treat for the skin.

There were a few downsides. the room did not have a hair dryer or lockers.
